Free Halloween Mix from Testube!

Halloween Mix

To celebrate my favorite holiday of the year, I've just completed a special Halloween release! This mix features some of my "spookiest" audio moments, carefully mixed together for a soundtrack styled horror experience. Included in the mix are previously released tracks from both Testube and my Marble I/Orchard side-project, as well as several unreleased versions that have not seen the light of day until now. These compositions span over fifteen years of my musical career, and I had a great time revisiting some of these old "haunts". I hope you dig them, too. :)

Type001 joins Glim Records!

Type001 joins Glim Records

Super excited to share the news - the uber-cool electronic act of Matt Ossen, called Type001, has just joined our little family of ear-twisting musical misfits at Glim Records. Type001's newest album Finished Business, which I have had the intense pleasure of previewing, will be released shortly. Expect a very diverse, complex, and intelligent audio experience, with some leanings towards contemporary X Marks the Pedwalk type compositions, but in a style all his own.

Matt Ossen and I first got acquainted when we were both signed to DSBP Records, and I've kept a close ear on his musical output ever since. He's been a favorite remixer on several of my recent Testube releases, and he is sure to bring lots of experience and creativity to our cooperative style record label. It's an honor to have him join us in at Glim. Welcome, Matt!  keep reading »

It is now available for download via all major online retailers, as well as directly from the Testube Bandcamp page. You can also preview the entire album at Youtube.  keep reading »

New rarities collection from I, Parasite!

Assorted Debris from I, Parasite

The incredible post-industrial sludge-rock act I, Parasite has just released the second installment of their Assorted Debris collection of rarities. I've been following Christopher Jon's musical output for many years now, and it's always a treat to hear some of the unreleased material that didn't make it onto their official releases, for one reason or another. Included in this digital release are rare demos, live cuts, and other unreleased tracks from 2002-2007, including remixes from Testube and my talented friend R010R.

So, go check it out - did I mention that it is free?!?  keep reading »
