Circuit Noir Volume 1

Marble Orchard was the name Jeff Danos had used for his horror and sci-fi soundtrack type material. However, Jeff had to change the project name to "Marble I/Orchard" when he discovered that another band had already called themselves "Marble Orchard".

Reviews of Circuit Noir Volume 1:
  • "Marble Orchard - "Dementia" - A chilling imagination-stimulating mellow instrumental soundscape. Music for vagueing-out to late at night in complete darkness. In a similar vein to Coil's "Hell Raiser Themes" as well as Shinjuku Thief/Shinjuku Filth and other releases on Dorobo records."

    Blatant Propaganda
  • "Marble Orchard provides one of the best tracks on the CD. "Dementia" is like a mixture of droning noise and active noise, virtually placing the two styles on top of each other, adding a very complex feel that really has never been achieved by another band this well."
